I am an amateur photographer who loves to photograph anything and everything. I don't specialise in any particular area although I do love to photograph motorsports and I also love to capture close up detail in things around us that people may not normally notice.

The final round of the British Superbikes made it way back to Oulton Park for the second time this year.

Armed with my new camera, I actually managed to get to the practice day alone! No 4 year old swinging off my legs while I try to get the shots. It was a really bizarre feeling going on my own, but I have to say, I very much enjoyed it. My time! And check out the heat haze on the shot of Leon Camier (BSB Champion 2009). I've never had a heat haze shot before!

 At last! It's been a long monthwithout a camera!

Mine, sadly, had an accident at the beginning of August and it led to it's death. A lot of tears and raking money together finally led to a new (to me) Canon 30D. At last I'm taking photographs again. A very courteous dragonfly, who sat and posed for a good half an hour led to the following shot plus another in the gallery
